Lawn care job management software
Lawn care software built around the round.
Plan weekly and fortnightly cuts, split the day across crews, keep the route order, and create the next visit the moment this one is done.
No card · Whole crew included · Cancel anytime
For recurring lawn work, not enterprise field service.
-
A round that repeats
Weekly, fortnightly or monthly cuts, with the next visit created automatically.
-
One or two vans
Split areas and crews across the day without double-booking or missing a stop.
-
Cash, card and invoice
Keep the payment method and the balance with the job, from the first cut to collection.
If you need fleet telematics, compliance workflows or enterprise dispatch, JobDiary is deliberately not that.
From this cut to the next one.
-
Add the customer and the cut
Address, what the cut includes, and the price.
-
Set the cycle
Every week, every two weeks, or monthly through the season.
-
Put it on an area round
Group it with the lawns near it so the van is not crossing town twice.
-
The crew sees Today
The day's cuts in driving order on the phone.
-
Mark done, take the money
Cash, card or bill by invoice, with a photo of the finish if it needs one.
-
The next visit appears
Dated off the cycle, before anyone has closed the van door.
Rain changes the day. It should not lose the lawn.
A washed-out morning is the most common thing that breaks a paper round, because the jobs get scribbled somewhere and then forgotten.
- Move the visit without deleting the customer or breaking the repeat pattern.
- The reason stays in the job's activity, so next month it still makes sense.
- The route tightens when a stop moves, rather than leaving a gap in the day.

The lads need the next lawn, not the whole office.
- Large one-handed controls, because the other hand is on a mower.
- Taps are saved on the phone when the signal drops and sent when it returns.
- Open the stop in Maps and come back to the same place in the list.

Finish the cut. Record what happened.
Most lawn money is small, frequent and mixed: a tenner in cash at one gate, a card tap at the next, an invoice at the end of the month for the estate. All three land on the same job, and a part payment keeps its remaining balance.
Card payments run through your own Stripe account. Reminders can run at day 3, day 7 and day 14.

This workflow came from a real Co. Louth round.

Lawn care questions
Can JobDiary run weekly and fortnightly rounds at the same time?
Yes. The cycle belongs to the job, not to the round, so a weekly cut and a fortnightly cut can sit on the same day and each comes back on its own schedule.
What happens when a cut is rained off?
Move the visit to tomorrow or pick a date. The customer, the notes and the repeat pattern stay attached to the job, and the next visit still lands where the cycle says it should.
Can two crews split the same round?
Yes. Areas are picked for the day, so one van takes a patch and its jobs sit on that van only. Nobody has to ring around to work out who is doing what.
Does the route keep the cut order next time?
The order is rebuilt from where the lawns actually are, so it stays sensible even when jobs are added, moved or skipped.
Can the crew take cash at the gate?
Yes. Cash is logged against the job on the spot, card runs through your own Stripe account, and anything billed later becomes an invoice.
